Twenty years ago, our story began quietly. We met at a time when neither of us knew how important that moment would one day become. It wasn’t dramatic or perfectly timed—just two young people crossing paths, sharing a connection that felt natural, and unexpectedly meaningful, but the currents and tides of life separated them. Keeping in contact, we moved forward on separate roads, each of us trying to find love elsewhere, building relationships, learning lessons, and growing into the people we were meant to become. Though we missed our opportunity then, the connection never fully disappeared—it simply waited in the backround of our lives. Time passed, many years layered over years, and what once felt like a “what if” became a quiet memory we carried in the back of our hearts and minds.And then, in 2025, life surprised us. We found our way back to one another—wiser, more grounded, and ready in ways we hadn’t been before. What we discovered in our reconnection that took us by storm was a new love, that was stronger and deeper than either of us could imagine or experienced in our lives. The spark was still there and as we reconnected with hours upon hours’ worth of conversations, to the moment we physically hugged at an airport terminal gate, the spark was amplified to volumes beyond our understanding of what love could feel like. This time, the timing was right. Despite our desire to have started this sooner, looking back, we see that every step, every detour, and every missed moment mattered. The years apart shaped us, prepared us, and led us exactly where we needed to be—back to each other.
